“…where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Mat 18:20)

God’s faithful people are distinguished by a single hearted loyalty. The Bible would call it “one mind.” God has faithful people who are not trying to do what Christ said cannot be done—serve both God and wealth. at the same time. They stand out like bright lights in a morally dark world, shining amid the deep spiritual darkness that covers humanity like a funeral shroud.
Whatever you bind on earth will be recognized in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will be recognized in heaven as well. You are serving as representatives of heaven, and the results of your work have eternal significance. Yet you do not carry this responsibility alone. Wherever God’s Word is accepted and obeyed with a sincere heart, Christ is present. He is not only with believers when the church gathers together; wherever His followers meet in His name, no matter how few they may be, He is there among them. The decisions you make in harmony with God’s will on earth will always be affirmed by heaven.
This is why Creator says, ‘If two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, My Father in heaven will do it for them.’ By saying ‘My Father in heaven,’ Jesus reminded His disciples that although He shares their human experience, understands their struggles, and sympathizes with their suffering, He is also united by His divine nature with the throne of the eternal God.
What an extraordinary promise! The angels of heaven work alongside men and women in the effort to save those who are lost. All the resources and power of heaven are joined with human effort to draw people to Christ.”
May the God of all comfort surround you with faithful companions on this journey we call life. May Creator grant you the courage to step out of whatever is isolating you from the peace of God that passes understanding, and into the warmth of a covenant community. May God’s people become a refuge for your soul and a reminder of His never ending faithfulness. Go in peace. Stay connected. And know that you are deeply loved. And that you were never meant to walk alone. This is my prayer in Jesus name.
