And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
The average person makes over 35,000 decisions a day—approximately 1,500 decisions an hour if you are awake for 24 hours. From opening your eyes and getting out of bed to choosing to read this sentence, your life is composed of thousands of seemingly small decisions that shape the course of your day.
Every decision we make matters, but the most important decision we will ever make is whether to follow Jesus Christ. Believing in Jesus not only transforms our life on earth but also determines our eternal destiny. Those who believe and follow Jesus will one day join Him in heaven.
In a letter to the churches in ancient Rome, Paul writes:
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9 NIV
Choosing to believe and follow Jesus changes everything. Not only are we saved for eternity, but we also get to have a relationship with God today. We have this assurance because God lives in us, and we live in Him. God’s Word tells us that when we believe in Him, the Spirit of God dwells within us, empowering us to live according to His will.
Wherever we go and whatever we do in life, God will always be with us. Since we have a relationship with Him, we can talk with Him anytime. His Spirit grants us peace when we are fearful and grace when we make mistakes.
The first step is to begin a relationship with Jesus. As we grow in our relationship with Him, we will have opportunities to share the hope we have in Jesus with others. So be bold when those opportunities arise to acknowledge Jesus publicly. God lives in you and goes with you everywhere—you have nothing to fear. Thank Him for His presence and grace today.

The light and glory of Heaven carry that name, which He wishes us to embrace.
GOD with ME. Come if you are broken. If you need healing, He is where you will find it. When we are broken, JESUS takes all our shattered pieces and creates beautiful, world-class art with them!
Jesus wants to make you new. Jesus is all about transformation for He knows the Heavenly secret of the Christian life (Rom 12:2)

The officers sent to Jesus returned with the report that no one ever spoke as He spoke. The reason for this was that no one ever lived as He lived. Had His life been different, He could not have spoken as He did. His words carried convincing power because they came from a heart that was pure and holy, full of love, sympathy, benevolence, and truth. – HDL 7.2
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Phil 2:5)
Why not make the decision now to choose Jesus and change EVERYTHING? Jesus will never disappoint.
